The Mall at Green Hills Announces New Luxury Retailers Burberry, Juicy Couture and Lacoste Opening Stores in 2008, Brooks Brothers and Banana Republic Expanding Stores.
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--- October 29, 2007--- Luxury retailers Burberry, Juicy Couture and Lacoste have announced plans to open their first stores in Tennessee at The Mall at Green Hills in 2008.

The new 4,501 square-foot Burberry store will feature select styles from the London designer’s extensive collection of accessories, including handbags, jewelry, shoes, watches and scarves, women’s and men’s apparel, fragrances and gifts. The new store is scheduled to open in August, 2008 and will join 39 current Burberry boutiques across the United States. The Burberry store will be located on the Mall Upper Level in space presently leased by Brooks Brothers who will be moving to a new, expanded location in April, 2008.
The California-based Juicy Couture boutique store will offer the complete Juicy Couture collection of apparel for women, kids and baby, as well as fragrance and a full range of accessories including handbags, jewelry, watches, swimwear, sunglasses and shoes. With a footprint of 3,074 square feet, the new store will join the 33 currently open locations across the country. Scheduled for a September 2008 opening, the new Juicy Couture boutique will be located on the Upper Level of the Mall.
“Lacoste is excited to open our first boutique in Tennessee at The Mall at Green Hills, and to be surrounded by other great luxury retailers,” said Bob Ross, Vice President of Retail for Lacoste, USA.
Lacoste’s new 1,703 square-foot boutique will feature a full line of French-inspired apparel, footwear, leather goods, watches, and fragrances. The new store, set to open in March 2008, will be located on the Mall Lower Level near the South Entrance off Abbott Martin Road. Lacoste currently operates 54 retail boutique locations in the United States.
In addition to these new luxury retailers, current retail stores Brooks Brothers and Banana Republic will be moving to newly expanded locations in 2008. Brooks Brothers will move to its 9,495 square-foot location between Burberry and Rangoni Firenze Shoes on the Mall Upper Level in April 2008. The new, larger store will have both exterior and interior entrances. Banana Republic will be opening its new 6,380 square-foot store next to Juicy Couture on the Mall Upper Level in August 2008.
The Mall also announces plans to open a Georgiou Studio store in May 2008, which will be the store’s first location in Nashville. Based in San Francisco, California, Georgiou Studio will present its contemporary lifestyle clothing line for women in retail space located between Sephora and Teavana on the Mall Lower Level. The new store, joining 27 current Georgiou Studio stores open across the United States, will offer denim lines, tops, pants, skirts, dresses, suits, outwear and more.
Recently, Swarovski Crystal opened its first Nashville store in The Mall. The new store features its crystal collections, fine jewelry and accessories, as well as home décor, figurines, collectibles, and wedding accessories, and is located in 674 square feet of retail space between Stuart Weitzman and Rangoni Firenze Shoes on the Mall Upper Level.
Joining Swarovski Crystal in The Mall this holiday season will also be newly remodeled and expanded Victoria’s Secret and The Gap stores. Victoria’s Secret is currently closed for remodeling and expansion and will debut its new 9,517 square-foot store by mid-November. The Gap recently reopened its remodeled store.
These new stores will be the latest additions to The Mall at Green Hills’ collection of lifestyle retailers, joining several 2007 store openings including Stuart Weitzman, Lucky Kid, The Walking Company, Kay Jewelers, and Auntie Anne’s.
The Mall at Green Hills is located in Nashville, Tennessee at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company.
