Fashion Accessories Retailer Fossil Opens Location At The Mall at Green Hills

NASHVILLE, Tenn. --- July 21, 2008 --- Continuing its commitment to adding new lifestyle retailers, The Mall at Green Hills announces that Fossil has opened a new store at The Mall at Green Hills, with Burberry and Juicy Couture set to open stores by August 1.

Based in Texas, Fossil offers contemporary fashion accessories for men and women including watches, wallets, apparel, jewelry, belts, sunglasses, and handbags. The 1,000 square-foot retail location is located between newly renovated bebe and J. Jill on the Mall Lower Level. The new store joins 183 other Fossil locations open across the United States.

“We’re pleased to announce that Fossil has opened at The Mall at Green Hills,” says Hank Woerner, Mall General Manager. “This latest store opening represents our on-going commitment to providing exceptional shopping for our customers,” Woerner adds.

Fashion and accessory retailers Burberry and Juicy Couture are both scheduled to open their first stores in Tennessee at the Mall by August 1. London-based Burberry is expected to open its new 4,501 sq. ft. location on July 25 and California-based Juicy Couture is scheduled to open its 3,074 sq. ft. store August 1. In addition, Banana Republic is remodeling and expanding its store and has a temporary location adjacent to its existing store. A portion of the new 6,380 sq. ft. Banana Republic store is set to open August 20.

Fossil is the latest addition to The Mall at Green Hills’ exclusive collection of lifestyle and luxury retailers. In May 2008, Georgiou Studio opened its first Tennessee location at The Mall. In April, The Mall at Green Hills and Nordstrom Department Store announced that the upscale department store will open its first Tennessee location, a 149,000 square-foot store, at The Mall in Fall 2010.

Apparel retailers Lacoste and New York and Co. opened stores in March 2008, with GNC and Brooks Brothers opening new mall locations in February and March 2008, respectively.

The Mall at Green Hills is located in Nashville, Tennessee at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company. Davis Street Land Company is a privately-held real estate company focused on the ownership and development of upscale specialty and lifestyle centers. The principals of the company are responsible for the development and ownership of unique retail properties such as Renaissance Place in Highland Park, Illinois, The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert, California, and Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis, Missouri.
